Sazlburg is the beautiful town in Western Austria located in the Alps 425 meters above the sea level. Bordered with the Salzah River, the Old Town is located on its left bank housing many churches and Baroques buildings. Though Baroques architecture is the key feature of the city, its cornerstone is formed by music which can be heard everywhere: in the churches, castles, palaces and concert halls. Salzburg is the place where Mozart was born; it hosts the renowned Music Festival. The construction of the right river bank began in the New Age period. The New Town also houses attractions spots: Mirabellgarten and Palace of Mirabell built in the 17 century. Salzburg is a small town with the population of 145 thousand people. It takes a few hours to go round it. The main tourist destinations are the town’s central streets, Mozart’s residence, Benedictine Monastery and Hohensalzburg Castle rising above the town. It has perfectly preserved since its construction in the medieval times. A trip to Salzburg is a great opportunity to enjoy the Austrian color with endless green meadows and gingerbread houses.
