The Hammam experience is a traditional cleansing ritual performed in the impressive domed cavern of the Hammam, with individual washing stations and a central pedestal all cut from exquisite marble and gently heated by the temperate atmosphere. Firstly, the body is washed with warm water poured onto the skin before a vigorous scrub with a traditional kese silk mitt, removing all traces of dead, dull skin cells, stimulating circulation and deeply invigorating. In the Turkish tradition a rich, foamy lather is created from natural olive soap and used to massage the body for a final cleanse and vitality.
